Your Day Wise Itinerary

Welcome to Milan. You will be transferred to your hotel (Check-in time is after 1500 hrs). Overnight in Milan. (D)
Today, proceed for the Orientation tour of Milan. See the famous Duomo, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in Italy, La Scala Opera House and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world’s oldest shopping malls. Later travel to scenic the town of Como - Located on the shores of Lake Como - this is a popular resort area for aristocrats and celebrities since Roman times, known for its dramatic scenery, set against the foothills of the Alps. Walk along its beautiful waterfront or relax in this picturesque lakeside setting. Later we proceed towards Padova. Overnight at the hotel in Padova. (B, D)
Today, drive to Venice, the romantic Italian city, known for its unique architecture. Drive over Mussolini’s Bridge of Liberty and then take a private boat to St. Mark’s Square, the very heart of Venice. Here, see the historic Ducal Palace, the infamous prison, the Bridge of Sighs, the exquisite Clock Tower and the splendor of St. Mark’s Basilica. Visit the Murano Glass showroom where a master craftsman will demonstrate the art of creating the famous Venetian blown glass. Later, drive to Florence and proceed on a guided walking tour of the city during which we see the Magnificent Duomo, the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower. We then walk towards Piazza Signoria to see the Palazzo Vecchio, the Logia and the Equestrian statue of Cosimo. Overnight in Florence (B, D)
Today, drive to Pisa and visit the “Field of Miracles”, wherein stands the grand Romanesque Pisan styled marble Cathedral. See the Baptistery and the bell tower, known throughout the world as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Remember to take a photograph of your family against this wonder of the world. Later, take a train excursion with a local guide to the stunning Cinque Terre - set amid some of the most dramatic coastal scenery on the planet, these five ingeniously constructed fishing villages can bolster the most jaded of spirits. Today, proceed to Capri on a Hydrofoil- a high-speed boat that gets you to this beautiful island in under an hour. Capri is known for its fabled beauty and refined hedonism that has charmed them all, from Roman rulers and Russian revolutionaries to Hollywood legends. Enjoy a guided tour and later, take a boat to the Blue Grotto (Weather Permitting) a large cavern lit by sunlight reflecting off the submerged limestone walls. Today, also visit Sorrento - a jewel in the world-famous Amalfi Coast in Italy. Overnight in Naples. (B, D)
Today, drive to Pompeii. On a guided tour - see the once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city that was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The preserved site features excavated ruins of streets and houses that you will visit. Next, we drive to Tivoli. On arrival, we visit the 16th-century Villa d’Este, a UNESCO World Heritage which is a Renaissance retreat famous for its landscaped gardens and lavish fountains. Later we proceed to Rome. Today, on a guided tour of Rome, see the Castel St. Angelo, see the Circus Maximus and see the ruins of the Greek Temples, see the gigantic Colosseum - a symbol of Rome and the Trevi Fountain. Later, visit world-renowned Vatican museum with Sistine Chapel the private chapel of the Pope. See “The Last Judgment” painted on the altar by the renowned artist Michelangelo. Also Visit St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest Cathedral. Overnight in Rome. (B, D)
